She is triple board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, Family Medicine & Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, and Addiction Medicine by the American Osteopathic Association.

Dr. Abbas completed a Pre-Doctoral Fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulation, extending her medical school training by one year to both learn & teach osteopathic manual medicine principles & practice. She worked under expert osteopathic physicians to further her manual skills.
